Help Needed to Add Factions
I bought factions and am trying to figure out how to "get it going". I have installed the cds. But the access key in the box isnt the normal 5 slots or whatever its 3 groups of numbers and letters. The key wont let me tab to the end to submit. I am wanting to simply convert or add it to my existing account. But after looking at the guild wars site and this site (search feature isnt working for me here) I still cant figure it out. Must I add it as a seperate account?

You shouldn't try to add it as a separate account, as there won't be a way to merge them later. Send in the key to Arenanet via http://support.guildwars.com/ and see what they say.

Heh, quadposter!
You tried to input the bonus music key, didn't you? ps - try editing your post rather than submitting multiple posts one after the other - it incurs the wrath of the admins! Glad you got it sorted - seeya online |

actually it was the code that is on the right bottom part of the access key card
i dont know what its for...but there wasnt a tear here or drawn line for the perforated part and in all my fustration i missed that the access code was within the paper...it says access key card i jsut thought it would be on there...and there was a code there...it was stupid on my part but im sure im not the first person to have that issue and as a technical writer its very bad design. it woudl have been best to have had a note in bold at the bottom saying the access was enclosed...they used the word contains but it didnt click...and a tear here woudl have been sufficient as well. |
